Geography Teacher

About the role
We are seeking a full‑time Geography Teacher to cover a long‑term staff absence at a well‑established secondary school in North Birmingham. This temporary position offers the chance to join a supportive Humanities department and make a real difference to motivated students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess pupil progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Complete all marking, record‑keeping and reporting in line with school policies.
- Maintain continuity of learning during the long‑term cover period.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire learners.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality lessons and supporting student progress.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of Geography curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
