Group Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Group Management Accountant to join our collaborative finance team. You will produce management accounts for multiple entities, gain exposure to consolidations and statutory reporting, and develop budgeting and forecasting responsibilities as the role evolves.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts across several entities.
• Prepare consolidated management accounts and financial reports.
• Execute month‑end activities including accruals, pre‑payments and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate year‑end audits and support the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with corporation tax processes.
• Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and deliver insightful commentary.
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls.
• Mentor a junior member of the finance team.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification – part‑qualified, studying or qualified by experience.
• Proven experience producing management accounts.
• Multi‑entity experience advantageous but not essential.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and SUMIFS.
• Proactive, organised and eager to develop a finance career.
