Head Breakfast Chef

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the breakfast and brunch kitchen of a fast‑growing café brand in London. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will own the day‑to‑day performance of the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets the highest standards of quality, flavour and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of the breakfast and brunch menu.
• Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and flavour.
• Introduce creative ideas while protecting consistency and brand standards.
• Lead, support and develop the kitchen team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
• Manage stock levels, minimise waste and build strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Support operational efficiency and cost control.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a busy breakfast, brunch or similar kitchen.
• Passion for fresh food, bold flavours and high‑quality culinary execution.
• Creative mindset with the ability to innovate while maintaining consistency.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Commitment to food safety, hygiene standards and cost‑effective operations.
