Head of Public Sector Service Transformation Consulting

About the role

This senior position leads a newly created Public Sector Service Transformation practice within a global technology and business services group. You will work directly with ministers, senior civil servants and public‑sector leaders to redesign high‑volume citizen services using AI, automation and industrialised delivery models.

Key responsibilities

• Define the consulting vision, market positioning, value propositions and go‑to‑market strategy for public‑sector transformation.
• Build and maintain senior relationships across government departments, agencies and local authorities.
• Originate, qualify and convert sales opportunities, leading the full sales lifecycle from solution design to commercial negotiation.
• Lead public‑sector framework bids, competitive pitches and major presentations.
• Bridge strategy and execution, overseeing the delivery of AI‑enabled, automated service redesigns at scale.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in public‑sector consulting or transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with ministers, elected officials and senior civil servants.
• Track record of winning large‑scale outsourcing, managed‑services or transformation contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience shaping go‑to‑market models.
