Head of Talent Acquisition / Recruitment

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing technology firm that needs a senior talent leader to drive recruitment across the UK and US. The role is hybrid, with three days in the London office and two days remote, and reports directly to the Head of People.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop an international recruitment team covering the UK and US.
• Design and execute a recruitment strategy that supports the company’s 2‑3 year growth ambitions.
• Own the talent acquisition budget, monitor spend and align with C‑suite financial goals.
• Create attraction and sourcing strategies to secure high‑calibre candidates in both regions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and drive successful hires.
• Identify and implement automation and AI‑enabled tools to streamline processes and improve candidate experience.
• Review and refresh job descriptions, map talent gaps and propose innovative sourcing ideas.

Required profile

• Proven senior talent acquisition experience in a high‑growth, technology‑focused environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and scale recruitment teams across multiple geographies.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing recruitment budgets.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leaders and hiring managers.
• Track record of using data‑driven approaches and automation to improve recruitment outcomes.
