Health and Social Care Assessor – London (Home/Field)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Health and Social Care Assessor to join our team in London. The role is home‑based with field visits, allowing you to assess apprentices and deliver functional skills training both remotely and face‑to‑face.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and support learners undertaking Health and Social Care Apprenticeships (Levels 2, 3 and 5).
• Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
• Plan and manage a diary of visits, ensuring timely reviews and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and produce high‑quality paperwork.
• Motivate and advise learners, overcoming barriers to learning.
• Meet KPI targets for visits, paperwork quality and administration.

Required profile

• Recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Experience delivering Health and Social Care Apprenticeships – Frameworks or Standards.
• Senior‑level occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly).
• Confidence in delivering Maths and English Functional Skills.
• Willingness to conduct online assessments and travel for face‑to‑face visits.

Required skills

• Good ICT proficiency.

What we offer

• Salary £29,000 – £32,500 per annum plus bonus up to £12,000.
