Health & Safety Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join our client’s growing team in Manchester. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering expert advice on health and safety compliance across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert health and safety advice via phone and email.
• Guide clients in using online health and safety systems.
• Conduct research and produce accurate support documentation.
• Liaise with external agencies and represent clients when required.
• Review and recommend updates to management systems and risk assessments.
• Create guidance notes, risk assessments and checklists.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers on prospective client documentation.
• Manage client cases from initiation to completion, ensuring strong relationships.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legal changes and internal training.
• Present training sessions and webinars to clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• Proactive “can‑do” attitude with a desire to learn.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
• Practical experience in health and safety and ambition to develop a career.
• Motivation to generate new business and referrals.
• Strong research and problem‑solving skills.
