Health & Safety Manager – Warehouse & Office

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across a busy fulfilment warehouse and office environment. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be the visible champion of safety on‑site, building relationships and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and put effective control measures in place.
• Lead incident investigations, produce corrective actions and monitor outcomes.
• Manage COSHH, PPE, manual handling and safe systems of work.
• Deliver H&S training, inductions and safety briefings.
• Run H&S meetings, report on trends and key performance indicators.
• Perform regular warehouse and office inspections and promote housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) or comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or similar settings.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Confident communicator able to influence, challenge and build relationships.
• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with a focus on practical solutions.
• Full UK driving licence.
