HGV Class 1 & 2 Driver – Colchester

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 & 2 drivers to join a leading logistics and transport provider in Colchester. The role involves safe, efficient transportation of goods on both day and night shifts, offering a stable, well‑paid position within a safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
• Report on time for scheduled shifts and communicate any issues promptly.
• Complete deliveries and collections according to operational requirements.
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements, and road traffic regulations.
• Adhere to EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and well maintained.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and records.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR certification.
• Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional attitude.
• Commitment to safe and compliant driving practices.
