HGV Driver – Trainee Member (Full‑time)

About the role

Join Suma, a worker‑owned co‑operative, as a full‑time HGV Driver. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across London while representing the company’s ethical values.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver and collect goods, following planned routes and adapting to changes.
• Carry out pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Assist with route planning and maintain accurate run notes.
• Record temperature checks for chilled and frozen consignments.
• Comply with drivers’ hours regulations and road traffic laws.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and refuelled as needed.

Required profile

• Proven HGV driving experience.
• Full, valid HGV licence and CPC qualification.
• Strong time‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently on the road.
