About the role

Join a respected home‑care provider as a Home Care Assistant, supporting clients to live independently in the comfort of their own homes across North Shropshire. Whether you are experienced in care or starting a new career, you will play a vital part in delivering compassionate, high‑quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Provide companionship, emotional support and encourage social interaction.
• Prepare nutritious meals and drinks according to client preferences.
• Support medication routines and ensure timely administration.
• Help with light household duties, including cleaning and laundry.
• Assist with day‑to‑day activities to maintain clients' independence.

Required profile

• A genuine desire to help people and improve their quality of life.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional, reliable and dependable approach.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Previous care or support experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
