Hospitality Learning Coach – FOB & BOH

About the role

The Hospitality Learning Coach will work with apprentices across both Front of House and Back of House areas, helping them meet apprenticeship standards. Based in Birmingham, the role blends face‑to‑face and virtual coaching to support learners and partner employers.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and support learners in the workplace, focusing on the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for apprenticeship success.
• Collaborate with recognised hospitality employers to deliver high‑quality training.
• Monitor learner progress, record achievements and ensure milestones are met.
• Align training delivery with employer requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hospitality standards and apprenticeship frameworks.
• Use relevant systems to accurately track and report learner data.

Required profile

• Management or supervisory experience in both Front of House and Back of House hospitality operations.
• Professional cookery qualification or extensive experience in fresh‑food cooking.
• NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality.
• Broad vocational experience in food & beverage service, food production, reception, housekeeping or beverage service.
• Strong communication, organisational and coaching abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Experience in fast‑paced environments with target‑driven delivery.
