Housekeeper – Residential Care Home

About the role

Join the dedicated team at Stanton Court Nursing Home, a specialist residential care home, as a Housekeeper. You will play a vital part in creating a clean, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents, ensuring high standards of hygiene and personal care.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and all surfaces to the highest hygiene standards.
• Wash, press, and fold residents' personal clothing and bedding with meticulous attention to detail.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
• Support the overall cleanliness and presentation of the home, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Required profile

• Proactive, passionate, and ambitious attitude.
• Friendly and caring demeanor with the ability to engage well with residents and their families.
• Exceptional eye for detail.
• Experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not essential.
• Basic knowledge or understanding of the care sector.
