Housekeeping Porter

About the role

We are looking for an energetic and reliable Housekeeping Porter to join our team at Compass UK & Ireland in Holborn, London. In this hands‑on position you will help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests and staff, supporting the broader housekeeping operation.

Key responsibilities

• Keep public and back‑of‑house areas such as corridors, lobbies and service zones spotless.
• Support laundry operations by delivering clean linen to pantries and collecting soiled items promptly.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recycling safely.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, move furniture and assist with heavy lifting as needed.
• Respond to guest requests professionally to ensure a comfortable experience.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to perform manual work and lifting.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Good communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
• Team player who takes pride in delivering quality work.
