HR Consultant / Employee Relations Advisor

About the role

Full and part‑time opportunities are available with a close‑knit team that values collaboration. The role blends coaching managers, drafting policies and supporting clients through complex employee‑relations cases, offering a fast‑paced, people‑focused HR environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on employee relations, performance, absence and general HR queries.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and draft contracts and HR documentation.
• Lead client meetings and act as the primary HR contact.
• Develop policies, handbooks and tailored documentation.
• Conduct HR audits and provide practical recommendations.
• Keep clients updated on employment law changes.
• Collaborate with the operations team to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Strong HR generalist experience (consultancy experience beneficial but not essential).
• Confidence in giving independent advice and handling sensitive issues.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law.
• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• Calm, pragmatic approach with ability to juggle multiple clients.
• CIPD Level 5+ desirable, though not mandatory.
• Full UK driving licence and own car for client visits.
