HR Trainee (Part Time 25 hrs)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented HR Trainee to join our Education HR Consultancy team on a part‑time basis (25.5 hours per week). The role offers a gateway into HR administration within a supportive consultancy environment, working closely with the HR Consultancy Manager and consultants to serve schools and education clients.

Key responsibilities

• Produce contracts of employment, offer letters and other HR documentation for education‑sector clients using established templates.
• Review client information to ensure documentation aligns with agreed terms and conditions.
• Advise clients on contract clauses and escalate complex queries to the wider HR team.
• Upload and manage HR documentation in line with service level agreements.
• Support the HR Consultancy Manager and consultants in delivering an effective HR service across the client base.
• Assist in developing and continuously improving the Contracts & Document Management system.
• Collaborate with internal Payroll and VERA teams to support shared clients.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, service delivery and technology use.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure confidentiality and stay up‑to‑date with employment legislation.
