Hybrid .NET Developer – Birmingham

About the role

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our growing development team in Birmingham. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office, and offers the chance to work on a major programme of application development and systems integration using a modern Microsoft stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance business‑critical applications using C# and .NET 8.
• Build modern web interfaces with Blazor and create/consume RESTful APIs.
• Design, implement and optimise SQL Server databases.
• Translate business requirements into clean, maintainable code following SOLID principles.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments via Azure DevOps.
• Ensure applications are secure, reliable and performant.

Required profile

• Commercial experience developing with C# and .NET.
• Proven ability to build web applications and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, REST APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git version control and front‑end basics (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap).
• Experience delivering software through the full development lifecycle.
• Understanding of software design principles and best practices.
