Implementation Consultant

About the role

Stacks is looking for a fiercely ambitious, entrepreneurial, and technically driven Implementation Consultant to join our team. In this high‑impact role you’ll be critical in ensuring our customers successfully implement Stacks, integrating it with their core financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product implementation and onboarding for new customers, including configuration, system testing, UAT assistance, cut‑over and hyper‑care support.
• Provide customer solutions and support by advising on best practices, translating accounting problems into Stacks solutions, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Drive process improvement and automation by building smoother workflows between Customer Success and Engineering and creating internal tools or scripts.
• Develop and maintain documentation and self‑service resources for clients.
• Capture customer feedback to influence product improvement and prioritisation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of project management experience delivering software implementation projects in a SaaS environment.
• Deep, hands‑on experience with Accounting ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365) as a power user or consultant.
• Technical proficiency to understand and explain complex systems, self‑solve technical problems, with SQL and basic scripting knowledge a plus.
• Strong accounting domain knowledge (CPA or month‑end close experience) and confidence engaging with finance and technical stakeholders.
