Import Merchandiser – Children’s Wear

About the role
We are seeking an Import Merchandiser to join a leading supplier of children’s wear. Based just outside Manchester city centre, you will manage the import process for a range of products including clothing, coats, swimwear and pyjamas.
Key responsibilities
- Allocate and manage factories in China, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.
- Oversee the full import cycle from order placement to bulk shipment.
- Maintain critical paths and ensure timely delivery.
- Approve lab dips, trims, fabrics and sample approvals.
- Handle selected customer accounts as required.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an Import Merchandiser.
- Experience in children’s wear is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of international sourcing and supply‑chain processes.
