Independent Financial Adviser – Manage 150 Clients in Guildford

About the role

Join a well‑established wealth planning practice in Surrey and take over a client book of around 150 high‑net‑worth individuals as a retiring adviser steps back. You will start with a solid income base and established relationships, then grow the portfolio through the firm’s professional network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial planning for clients with assets of £500k + (some £3m+).
• Maintain and develop existing relationships while meeting clients in their homes or offices.
• Collaborate with the practice’s accountants, solicitors and business groups to generate new business.
• Support the firm’s compliance and fee‑generation targets.

Required profile

• Diploma‑qualified Independent Financial Adviser.
• 2‑3 years of advising experience with Competent Adviser status already signed off.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of client relationships.
• A desire to progress towards Chartered status.
