Information Governance Technical Analyst

About the role

This permanent position supports the Information Governance and Technology team of an international law firm in Manchester. Working in a hybrid model, you will ensure secure management of file and user permissions across a Microsoft ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Perform lifecycle activities for file and user permissions in Microsoft Entra, SharePoint Online, NTFS and ADFS.
• Execute access reviews and certifications according to policy requirements.
• Document policies, procedures and maintain accurate notes for data‑collection projects.
• Develop collaborative relationships to identify and streamline required tasks and processes.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all organisational levels.
• Excellent analytical abilities to define problems and propose solutions.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a customer‑service focus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Microsoft‑related certifications are a plus.
• Experience with cloud, server, storage, Active Directory, networking or related infrastructure.
• Previous experience in a law‑firm environment is desirable.
