Information Manager – Digital Construction

About the role

We are looking for an Information Manager to join our Digital Construction team within the United Utilities Framework. The role supports our digital transformation journey, ensuring projects meet ISO 19650 standards and deliver high‑quality information management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Digital‑by‑Default strategy across all projects, ensuring ISO 19650 compliance.
• Manage and mentor Information Coordinators, providing training and professional development.
• Conduct quality‑assurance audits and recommend continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with project teams to establish effective Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows and naming conventions.
• Serve as the go‑to expert for information‑management queries, delivering solutions to complex challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing ISO 19650 principles across construction projects.
• Skilled in working with Electronic Document Management Systems configured to CDE principles.
• Enjoys mentoring others and communicating complex ideas clearly.
• Passionate about digital transformation in construction.

Required skills

• ISO 19650 implementation.
• Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), preferably Viewpoint for Projects.
