Infrastructure Cloud Engineer

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing organisation recognised for service quality and innovation, is looking for an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team in London. The role will focus on designing, operating and continuously improving the Microsoft Azure environment while supporting related Microsoft services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Azure IaaS components – virtual machines, storage, backup – and manage patching and lifecycle processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Azure networking, ensuring reliable connectivity.
• Monitor security posture, remediate vulnerabilities and support compliance initiatives.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for cloud‑related incidents.
• Contribute to cloud migration and optimisation projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Azure IaaS, security and governance.
• Strong background in cloud networking and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Solid Windows Server administration skills and PowerShell scripting ability.
