Infrastructure Engineer - Zero Trust & M365 Lead (SC Cleared)

About the role

We are looking for a senior ICT Infrastructure Engineer to lead our Zero Trust and Microsoft 365 initiatives. The role provides technical leadership across Microsoft 365, Azure security, identity, endpoint management and Zero Trust architecture for a cyber‑security focused organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
• Design, implement and govern Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity and cloud‑governance solutions.
• Manage endpoints via Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and enforce device compliance policies.
• Implement Zero Trust controls such as Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management.
• Provide first‑, second‑ and third‑line support and handle escalations.
• Create and maintain security baselines aligned with ISO 27001, GDPR and Cyber Essentials.
• Automate infrastructure and security processes using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API and Terraform.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Microsoft 365 administration, infrastructure engineering or cyber security.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and the broader Microsoft 365 suite.
• Practical experience with Azure security, Microsoft Defender and Zero Trust architecture.
• Proven ability to manage Intune, Autopilot and endpoint security programmes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, escalation management and mentoring capabilities.
