Insolvency Solicitor Partner

About the role

The Legists, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Insolvency Solicitor Partner to strengthen its Birmingham restructuring and insolvency practice. This senior position will support the firm’s continued investment in UK insolvency work and provide a platform for further growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advise insolvency practitioners, lenders, private equity houses, directors and corporates on complex restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Handle both contentious and non‑contentious insolvency work across a broad client base.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, contributing to business development and practice expansion.
• Collaborate with corporate, banking, real estate and disputes teams to generate cross‑referral opportunities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate insolvency and restructuring.
• Strong technical expertise in both contentious and transactional insolvency work.
• Established network within the insolvency and restructuring market.
• Commercial acumen and a collaborative approach to business development.
