Interim Bid Manager – Business Services

About the role

The Interim Bid Manager will lead the full bid lifecycle for a private‑equity backed business services firm during a peak period. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will ensure that every proposal meets client specifications and drives new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end bid process to guarantee timely and accurate submissions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information and insights for each proposal.
• Develop compelling, professional bid documents tailored to client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with tender specifications and client guidelines.
• Track bid timelines, deliverables and deadlines, managing any risks.
• Conduct quality checks and reviews of proposal content before submission.
• Maintain a library of templates and relevant documentation for future use.
• Analyse feedback from previous bids to continuously improve processes and outcomes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in bid management or related writing roles.
• Available at short notice to cover an interim contract.
• Exposure to public‑sector bid processes.
• Experience in professional services, facilities management or healthcare services is highly advantageous.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

What we offer

• Daily rate equivalent to £55,000‑£65,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Temporary contract providing flexibility.
