Interim Category Manager – Professional Services (6 months)

About the role

The client is a well‑established global consumer brand looking to build a new procurement function. Reporting to the Global Head of Procurement, you will lead the Professional Services category worldwide on a six‑month interim contract.

Key responsibilities

• Build tender and contract negotiation processes from scratch for professional services.
• Lead competitive tenders across paid‑media, search and other marketing agencies.
• Manage significant US e‑commerce‑related spend.
• Negotiate and oversee travel, catering and in‑house hospitality contracts.
• Identify and deliver cost‑savings across the supplier base as the business scales.
• Partner closely with finance, HR, legal, e‑commerce and IT stakeholders.

Required profile

• Background in a consumer‑facing business such as retail, FMCG, hospitality or luxury.
• Experience procuring professional and indirect services (marketing, agency, HR, legal, travel).
• Available immediately or at short notice for a six‑month contract.
