About the role
This interim role provides strategic and operational leadership for a one‑form entry primary school in London during the Autumn term. The successful candidate will ensure stability across teaching, learning and school improvement while preparing the school for an upcoming Ofsted inspection.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the school through the Autumn term, maintaining high standards in teaching and learning.
- Prepare and evidence progress for the forthcoming Ofsted inspection.
- Drive improvement priorities and monitor progress against the school development plan.
- Support staff performance, pupil outcomes and overall quality of education.
- Collaborate closely with governors, senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Oversee safeguarding, attendance and compliance requirements.
- Act as a visible and credible leader for pupils, staff and the wider school community.
Required profile
- Previous headteacher experience in a primary school setting.
- Proven track record of school improvement and Ofsted readiness.
