Intermediary Oversight Analyst

About the role

The Intermediary Oversight Analyst will join Close Brothers Motor Finance’s Retail Intermediary Oversight team. You will support regulatory obligations by monitoring intermediaries, ensuring best‑practice standards are followed and helping to prevent customer harm.

Key responsibilities

• Administer oversight audit reviews, including risk assessments, conducting audits and producing audit reports.
• Manage the Intermediary of Concern process, carry out investigations, assess risk levels and coordinate next actions with stakeholders.
• Document and track remediation actions through to completion.
• Produce data analysis and management information for senior stakeholders on intermediaries of concern and audit outcomes.
• Prepare reports, capture minutes for the Intermediary Oversight Forum and present findings as required.
• Support the Senior Analyst in coordinating high‑risk working groups, taking minutes and distributing actions.
• Assist in creating training materials and delivering training across the business.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Self‑management of diary and workload prioritisation.
• Confidence handling difficult face‑to‑face conversations and providing constructive feedback.
• Ability to challenge behaviours, improve processes and analyse information critically.
