International Business Development Manager

About the role

This position offers a high‑visibility opportunity to shape the international growth strategy of a leading professional services firm. You will work closely with senior partners and leadership teams, influencing market direction and driving revenue across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with growth targets.
• Lead client pitches, proposals and RFP responses, ensuring compelling presentations.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify new opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and deliver actionable client insights.
• Manage international events, sponsorships and initiatives that raise the firm’s profile.
• Oversee marketing collateral, directory submissions and website content.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of business development or marketing experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Proven ability to work with senior partners and influence decision‑making.
• Strong track record in pitch development, proposal writing and project management.
• Excellent written communication, research and analytical capabilities.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
