International Financial Controller (Fully Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced International Financial Controller to lead financial control across multiple countries. The role is fully remote and offers ownership of reporting, controls and compliance for a growing international business. You will work closely with local finance teams, external advisors and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial control across multiple international entities.
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and group reporting packs.
• Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage statutory reporting and support year‑end audit activities in relevant jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with local finance teams, external advisors and outsourced partners.
• Maintain strong internal controls and consistent financial processes across the business.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting, controls and finance systems.
• Assist with accounting and compliance requirements in local territories, including exposure to Czech accounting standards.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or equivalent with proven financial controller experience.
• Demonstrated experience in an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with international stakeholders.
• Experience with multiple jurisdictions, currencies and reporting frameworks.
