Investor Relations and Business Development Associate

About the role

Join a fast‑growing specialist advisory firm that supports life‑science, healthcare and digital‑health companies in raising capital. As an Investor Relations and Business Development Associate you will work closely with clients, partners and internal campaign teams to connect innovative businesses with the right investors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise investor engagement opportunities across active fundraising campaigns.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with investors, clients and key industry stakeholders.
• Follow up investor enquiries, turning interest into meaningful conversations.
• Coordinate activities across multiple campaigns, ensuring clear plans, priorities and deadlines.
• Communicate confidently with clients, providing updates and keeping campaigns on track.
• Support targeted investor communications and marketing activities.
• Leverage CRM data, market intelligence and campaign insights to inform decision‑making.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, activity pipelines and campaign reporting.
• Assist in preparing high‑quality investor presentations and supporting documentation.
• Share market insight, investor feedback and sector intelligence to strengthen future campaigns.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with a passion for building strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience in business development, account management, client success, consultancy or a similar commercial, client‑facing role.
• Strong knowledge of or experience within the life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or digital‑health sectors.
