IT Sales & Business Development Consultant

About the role

Join a specialist recruitment firm as an IT Sales & Business Development Consultant, focusing on selling contract and permanent recruitment solutions to the technology sector. The role is hybrid, based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, with a standard Monday‑Thursday schedule and an early finish on Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business across SaaS vendors, consultancies and end‑user organisations.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders such as CTOs, IT Directors and Hiring Managers.
• Identify hiring needs in Cloud, DevOps, Data and Cybersecurity markets.
• Conduct business development calls, meetings and client pitches.
• Manage a personal client portfolio and negotiate fees, rates and commercial terms.
• Achieve revenue and gross‑profit targets.
