IT Support Engineer

About the role

Prestwick Aerosystems is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide desktop computing support for its UK site and to assist with infrastructure activities across its European locations. The role involves both in‑person and remote assistance, ensuring reliable IT services for all employees.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and prioritize desktop incident ticket queues, working with IT team leaders to balance conflicting demands.
• Resolve IT incidents on‑site, performing troubleshooting and escalating when necessary.
• Provide technical advice and fault resolution for a large user base of UK‑based computing users.
• Execute service requests such as Moves, Adds & Changes within agreed SLAs.
• Develop and maintain internal customer relationships, responding promptly to user requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a customer support environment.
• Strong background supporting Microsoft operating systems and Office applications.
• Experience with Citrix client environments.
• Proficiency using an IT support ticketing system.
