Junior Aviation Contracts & Certification Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Aviation Contracts & Certification Advisor to join our Aviation team in London. This early‑career position is ideal for legal, paralegal or contract‑administration professionals eager to develop specialist expertise in aviation contracts, certification and insurance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review aviation contracts, lease documents, policy wordings and related materials to support client operational and transactional needs.
• Prepare certificates of insurance and supporting documentation with high accuracy.
• Assist in reviewing and negotiating contractual and insurance provisions for airlines, aerospace businesses and leasing companies.
• Liaise with clients, brokers, insurers, lessors, external counsel and other stakeholders on contractual and certification matters.
• Identify key contractual requirements in client and counterparty documentation and help prepare compliant aviation certifications.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues and benefit from day‑to‑day mentoring.
• Develop technical knowledge of aviation insurance coverages, policy wordings, risk allocation and certification processes.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially on insurance and contractual topics.
• Genuine enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills in aviation contracts and certification.
• Proactive approach to training and technical knowledge acquisition.
• Excellent attention to detail when reviewing contracts and preparing certification documents.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong prioritisation, time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently while building technical expertise.
