About the role
My client is going through an exciting stage of growth, investing heavily in modernising its platforms with scalable, cloud‑native architecture. They are looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join their engineering team, working primarily in Go and AWS to build and maintain the APIs and services powering their platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Go.
- Work closely with senior engineers and product teams to translate requirements into working features.
- Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, databases, and backend services.
- Support the ongoing performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
- Work with AWS cloud infrastructure to deploy and maintain services.
Required profile
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Solid experience with Go.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and a solid delivery background.
- Good understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP).
