Junior Workshop Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Workshop Technician with a mechanical or electrical background to join a market‑leading fuel tank company in Lancaster. The role is workshop‑based, building bespoke tanking equipment used for moving fuels and other fluids, and offers clear progression and overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and fit tanking equipment components such as pumps, valves, pipes, control panels and wiring.
• Work with tools to build and maintain bespoke fuel‑tank equipment in a static workshop environment.
• Undertake training on electrical systems where required to broaden technical capability.

Required profile

• Mechanical or electrical background, or a similar technical discipline.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on electrical systems.
• Ability to commute to Lancaster and work on‑site in a workshop setting.

What we offer

• Salary £30,000‑£34,000 (up to £39,000 OTE) plus bonus and overtime.
