About the role

Haydon Wick Primary School in North Swindon is seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This fixed‑term position offers 32.5 hours per week across the full academic year, providing a supportive environment for children aged 4‑11.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to whole‑school improvement initiatives.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support where needed.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and Ofsted‑related activities.
