Knowledge Lawyer – Corporate

About the role

We are seeking a Knowledge Lawyer – Corporate to join a leading international law firm’s corporate team in Birmingham. The role combines legal expertise with innovation, focusing on improving the efficiency and quality of the team’s work through knowledge management and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain practical guidance and precedent documents that reflect current law, market practice and regulatory changes.
• Create and update know‑how resources for the corporate team.
• Organise and deliver training sessions on technical updates, transactional skills and market trends.
• Provide research assistance on technical legal queries.
• Monitor legislative, case law and regulatory developments and circulate updates.
• Identify upcoming legal or regulatory changes that could affect clients or practice areas.
• Prepare client briefings and alerts on significant developments.
• Explore and implement new technologies, including AI tools, to streamline processes, enhance document review and support legal research.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with corporate transactional experience, preferably M&A, based in Birmingham.
• Strong technical grounding and a passion for developing others.
• Organised, self‑motivated and able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively.
• Enthusiastic about innovation and the use of technology in legal services.
