Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYFS) – Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Level 3 Early Years Educator (or DfE‑recognised equivalent) to join our supportive team in Brent. You will work with children aged 0‑5, delivering high‑quality care and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities that meet EYFS standards.
• Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing on a daily basis.
• Observe, assess and record each child’s progress.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety policies at all times.
• Promote inclusion and equal opportunities for every child.
• Contribute to setting‑wide planning and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or DfE‑approved equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Desirable: Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain) and experience in a nursery, preschool or childcare setting.
