About the role

Join a global leader in technical training as a Mains & Service Layer Trainer. You will deliver and assess Level 1 Certificates and Level 2 Diplomas in network construction operations for gas and water, helping learners develop safe, competent practices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training on gas and water mains and service laying.
• Assess learner performance against Level 1 and Level 2 standards.
• Provide structured feedback and support throughout the training programme.
• Maintain a safe, high‑quality learning environment in state‑of‑the‑art facilities.

Required profile

• Based within commuting distance of Manchester.
• Background in mains or service laying, with strong gas experience and exposure to water.
• Competent in multi‑lay gas and water operations and excavation work.
• Willingness to undertake full trainer and assessor qualification.
