Management Accountant – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global media business to hire a Management Accountant on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role sits within a collaborative finance team in Central London, providing financial reporting and business‑partnering support to senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support the month‑end close process.
• Produce balance‑sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Deliver variance analysis and financial commentary for senior management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, re‑forecasting and year‑end reporting.
• Partner with budget holders to provide financial insight and challenge.
• Support audit requirements and ad‑hoc commercial analysis.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 1‑2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Highly organised and able to build relationships with stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite.
