Manager, Technical Account Teams – Europe

About the role

Socket is looking for a Manager to lead its Europe‑based Technical Account Teams. You will own post‑sales outcomes such as onboarding, adoption, customer health and gross retention, turning existing blueprints into a high‑performing retention engine.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and grow a team of Technical Account Managers (TAMs), hiring ahead of need as the organization scales.
• Own adoption, customer health and gross retention metrics, partnering with Account Executives on enterprise renewals.
• Improve and operationalise the post‑sales operating system – segmentation, health scoring, lifecycle playbooks and QBRs.
• Act as senior escalation point for at‑risk accounts, develop and execute save plans.
• Drive automation, playbooks and one‑to‑many programs to increase team efficiency each quarter.

Required profile

• 4+ years managing post‑sales teams (TAM, Solution Engineering or similar) with hiring and performance‑management experience.
• 6+ years in pre‑ or post‑sales roles within B2B SaaS, owning GRR/NRR or adoption targets.
• Background in security, developer tools or related technical products and familiarity with the SDLC.
• Proven track record as escalation owner on at‑risk enterprise accounts.
• Executive presence with CISOs, VPs of Engineering and internal leadership.
