Manufacturing Assistant – Forklift Licence Required

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Manufacturing Assistant to join our fast‑paced team in Gillingham. The role offers a four‑day week, allowing you to enjoy long weekends while contributing to a supportive production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the manufacturing and production process.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely, with training provided where required.
• Load, unload, and move materials using a forklift.
• Assist with goods in/out and stock management.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence (essential).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a physically active role.
