Maths Lecturer – September – Full‑time/Part‑time

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Maths Lecturers to join our team in Cheshire from September. The role involves delivering GCSE Mathematics and, where appropriate, Functional Skills and Core Maths to a diverse learner cohort.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
• Provide pastoral and academic support to help learners achieve their goals.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality learning resources and curriculum materials.
• Assess student work, give constructive feedback and track progress.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives and curriculum development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learner experience.

Required profile

• A degree or relevant professional qualification.
• Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
• A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience teaching in Further Education or a similar setting.
• Strong commitment to learner success and continuous professional development.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
