About the role
We are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join an ambitious secondary school in Walthamstow, East London. The role starts in September 2026 on a 12‑week temporary contract with the potential to become permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students of varying abilities.
- Monitor and support student progress, aiming to raise attainment.
- Collaborate with the wider Maths department on curriculum development.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
