Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – 4 on/4 off shift

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a world‑renowned theatre production company on a 1‑year fixed‑term contract, with the potential to become permanent. The role operates on a 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern from 07:00 to 19:00, based in central London.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and production equipment.
• Carry out basic PLC and controls work, including troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
• Hands‑on knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance procedures.
• Basic PLC/Controls experience is highly advantageous.
• Willingness to work the 4‑on/4‑off shift schedule.
