Mechanical Shift Technician – Commercial Facilities

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Shift Technician to join our facilities maintenance team on a high‑end commercial office site in Euston, London. The role offers a competitive salary of £50,000 plus overtime and a comprehensive package.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across all mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, chillers, pipework, and commercial plumbing infrastructure.
• Perform small project installations and support minor refurbishment works.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure optimal performance and comfort levels.
• Manage water hygiene, Legionella testing, L8 compliance, and general plumbing diagnostics.
• Respond to emergency call‑outs on‑site.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or Air Conditioning.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
