About the role
We are seeking a Media Litigation Solicitor with at least six years post‑qualification experience to join a leading dispute resolution team in London. The role involves advising high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, corporates and charities on complex, high‑profile media and reputation matters.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice on defamation, privacy, confidentiality, harassment and data‑protection issues.
- Draft and negotiate injunctions, settlement agreements and regulatory responses.
- Manage cases from pre‑action strategy through litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with specialists across the firm to deliver commercially focused solutions.
- Contribute to business development and mentor junior lawyers.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 PQE and strong litigation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high‑pressure, sensitive client matters.
- Excellent commercial awareness and judgement.
- Resilience, emotional intelligence and a proactive client‑focused approach.
Required skills
- Expertise in media law and reputation management.
- Proficient drafting of pleadings, injunctions and settlement documents.
- Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
