Membercare Assistant – Part‑time Cleaning Role

About the role

Bannatyne is looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented Membercare Assistant to help keep its fitness clubs clean, safe and welcoming for members.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of changing rooms, showers, toilets and poolside facilities.
• Sanitise gym equipment, floors and surfaces on a regular schedule.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners and dispose of waste correctly.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including litter removal and bin upkeep.
• Follow health and safety regulations and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Required profile

• Previous experience in domestic or cleaning roles.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Good time‑management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift and use cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
